funVoid
funVoid is an experimental multimedia group that seeks to explore spectrums of opposing polarities: electronic and acoustic, organic and digital, structure and freedom. The group - consisting of Henry Webster (violin/ guitar/ electronics/ voice), Kyle McCarthy (percussion/ electronics/ voice), and Jackie Turpin (guitar/ voice/ visuals) - have been performing together in various configurations since 2014. Over the years the group has presented vastly different iterations at venues throughout Southern California and beyond, including UCLA, CalArts, and The Troubadour, as well as being featured performers at LA’s Next Art and the 2016 Jam At The Barn festival in Blue Diamond, Nevada.
