Woolly Bear
Woolly Bear is a collaborative effort helmed by Nick Lonien, filled with musicians he has met throughout high school, college and the Seattle music scene. Nick’s music is reflective of his emotional state, which he describes as constantly teetering between wildly depressed at the seemingly pointless nature of existence, and in total awe of the profound beauty of life. Nick is constantly writing and recording with regular collaborators Carly Gilliland, Kyle McCarthy, and many others. Woolly Bear strives to find a way to express profound emotions, but in the end it mostly comes out as slightly off center pop music influenced by indie, jazz, experimental, and groove music.
